'Ved' could be special for Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza in more ways than one. It is a romantic drama film directed by Riteish and produced by Genelia. Ritesh and Genelia's first presence on the silver screen after marriage through this movie. The film also stars Ashok Saraf, Jia Shankar, and Rahul Dev. The film, which was released on December 30, 2022, is very much liked by the audience. The film collected 10 crores on the opening weekend. On the first Friday, 'Ved' earned 2.25 crores, 3.35 crores on Saturday 1st January and 4.50 crores on Sunday 2nd January. In this context, it became the highest-grossing Marathi film in a single day. Salman Khan also has a role in this film.

Ved's earnings in 10 days
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh told that on the second weekend, the film earned 27.50 percent more than the first weekend. He tweeted, '#Marathi film Ved continues to shine in the second weekend as well...In fact, on the second weekend, the film earned 27.50% more than the first weekend (12.75 crores)...On the second Saturday and Sunday, the film Good growth... Ved' is a film made with a budget of 15 crores. Such a low-budget film earned around the total cost in the first week of its release. The film completed the remaining work on the second weekend. On Sunday, the film became the highest-grossing Marathi film in a single day with 5.60 crores.
